Tapping the Admiral is proud to be a CAMRA accredited LocAle pub. This means that we will always offer at least 2 beers that have been brewed within 30 miles of the pub - we often have as many as 6 locally brewed ales and lagers, more if you include bottles.

At Tapping the Admiral, we rotate the ales so frequently that any listing would be out of date within the hour.

One thing is guaranteed, though; our ale is kept and served to the highest standards so, whatever you choose, it should be a pleasure. Feel free to ask for a taster before ordering.

Calling all brewers!

We are organising a series of showcase evenings dedicated to single breweries, offering 3 of our handpumps to your product. You get the chance to introduce your ale to our discerning punters, talk about what makes your ale unique and the possibility of showcasing your ale to prospective buyers and partners.
